and its Lalor Park Assisted Living project - a caring home being built for our multicultural seniors right here in NSW.

 
 

About Sri Om Care

Sri Om Care is part of the Sri Om Foundation, initiated in October 2006 and formally launched in August 2007 at Blacktown. Its work grows from the simple philosophy of HH Sri Om Adisakthiyendra Swamigal — "Humanity leads Divinity, Divinity leads to Unity" — the belief that God is present in every living being, and that in serving our community we are serving something greater and living as one.

For nearly two decades, Sri Om Care has brought skill, warmth and cultural understanding to caring for the elderly. Its staff and large volunteer base hold a wide range of qualifications and can communicate in many Indian languages besides English, so that older people from multicultural backgrounds feel truly understood, respected and at home.

The Lalor Park Project — a place to call home

Sri Om Care is developing a 25-bed Assisted Living Facility in Lalor Park to provide culturally sensitive, high-quality care for older people from multicultural communities. It is being designed as a place where seniors are celebrated for their life, dignity and culture — not simply looked after, but valued.

The new home will offer:

  • 24/7 care by qualified and compassionate staff

  • Culturally appropriate meals and programs

  • Comfortable rooms with accessible features

  • Health, wellbeing and lifestyle activities

  • Family involvement and strong community connections

  • A home where seniors feel valued and respected

Why your support matters

To open its doors, Sri Om Care needs help to equip and furnish the facility with essential medical equipment, mobility aids, emergency equipment, furniture and more. Every contribution — large or small — helps create a safe, dignified and caring home for elders who have given so much to their families and communities.
